How do i connect stripe?

Go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe and copy the webhook URL. In Stripe → Developers → Webhooks → Add endpoint, paste it and select invoice.payment_failed, invoice.paid, invoice.payment_succeeded and customer.subscription.updated/deleted/trial_will_end. Paste the whsec_ signing secret into Atlis and click Save Stripe settings. Needs Starter or higher.

What does stripe send?

Stripe sends payment_failed, payment_recovered (a paid invoice after a failure), subscription_activated (the first payment), plan_upgraded/plan_downgraded (price changes), plan_updated and subscription_cancelled, and updates trial end dates. Users are matched by email.

Add an endpoint in Stripe
In Stripe go to Developers → Webhooks → Add endpoint and paste the URL.

Select these events
invoice.payment_failed, invoice.paid, invoice.payment_succeeded, customer.subscription.updated, customer.subscription.deleted and customer.subscription.trial_will_end.

Paste the signing secret into Atlis
Copy the endpoint's Signing secret (it starts with whsec_), paste it into Stripe Webhook Secret and click Save Stripe settings. The status changes to Connected.

What Stripe sends to Atlis

Stripe event	Becomes
invoice.payment_failed	`payment_failed`
invoice.paid / invoice.payment_succeeded	`payment_recovered` after a failed payment; otherwise `subscription_activated` for the user's first payment. Both mark the user activated.
customer.subscription.updated	`plan_upgraded` or `plan_downgraded` when the price changes; otherwise `plan_updated`.
customer.subscription.deleted	`subscription_cancelled`. The user becomes Churned.
customer.subscription.trial_will_end	Updates the user's trial end date.

Atlis matches Stripe customers to your users by email, so identify users with the same email they use in Stripe.
Once connected, Atlis ignores the same billing events sent from the snippet, so nothing is counted twice.
You can connect Stripe or Paddle, not both.
