CRM status mapping

Turn CRM fields like Lead Status or Deal Stage into lifecycle stages and workflow triggers in Atlis.

Available on: Growth, Scale or an active trial

If your CRM sends a status field to /api/v1/identify or /api/v1/inbound (inside properties), Atlis can use it to update the user's lifecycle and start workflows automatically.

  1. 1

    Open the mapping

Go to Settings → Integrations → Server API & CRM → CRM status mapping.

  2. 2

    Enter the property name

The field name inside properties, for example lead_status. Letters, numbers, _ and -. Use dots for a nested field, like deal.stage.

  3. 3

    Add status values

Click Add status value, type a value exactly as your CRM sends it (for example Cancelled), and choose what it means. Up to 20 values per property. Capitalisation doesn't matter.

  4. 4

Map more fields if you need to

Click Add another property to map a second field, for example Deal Stage next to Lead Status. Up to 5 properties.

  5. 5

    Save

Click Save mapping. It applies to every identify and inbound call from then on.

OutcomeWhat Atlis does
ActivatedMarks the user activated (only if they aren't already). This can send the Onboarding completed email.
Churned (Subscription Cancelled)Records a subscription_cancelled event, so the user becomes Churned and your Subscription Cancelled workflow can send. It isn't recorded twice while they stay churned.
ReactivatedIf the user is currently churned, records subscription_reactivated so they're no longer churned. That can send the Subscription Reactivated workflow.
Trial Started, Trial Expired, Subscription Activated, Payment Failed, Payment Recovered, Plan Upgraded, Plan Downgraded, Switched to Annual Plan, Seats AddedRecords that event, which starts the workflow with the same name. It's recorded only when the field changes to that value, so a CRM that re-sends the same record doesn't send the email again.

New contacts

Activated, Churned and Reactivated work the same for new and existing contacts. For the workflow triggers, the first time Atlis sees a contact only Trial Started and Subscription Activated take effect. Payment and plan-change values on a brand-new contact are saved but not emailed, so syncing old CRM records doesn't send failed-payment or plan-change emails.

Not activated email for CRM leads

CRM leads have no product activity, so Atlis normally skips the Not activated email for them. Turn on Send "not activated" email to CRM leads to email leads who aren't activated once the workflow's delay has passed. Only leads who joined in the last 7 days qualify, so older leads are never emailed.
