What is FAQ schema?

FAQPage structured data: a JSON-LD block that marks up the questions and answers on a page, so search engines and AI tools can read them as clear question-and-answer pairs.

Will FAQ schema give me rich results in Google?

Probably not. Since 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results mainly for well-known, authoritative government and health websites. The markup is still valid and still helps machines understand your Q&A, but don't expect the expandable FAQ snippet for most sites.

Where do I put the code?

Paste the script tag into the HTML of the page that shows the same questions and answers, in the head or body. The text in the markup should match what visitors see.

How do I test it?

Use Google's Rich Results Test or the Schema.org validator on the page after adding it.
