SaaS revenue attribution by channel and campaign

Atlis shows which channels, campaigns and landing pages bring users who activate and pay, and how much monthly revenue each brings. It's for SaaS teams who want to spend on what actually turns into revenue, not just signups.

How it works

How does revenue attribution work?

  1. 1

Atlis records where people came from

The snippet keeps each person's first visit and their visits on the way to signing up: source, campaign and landing page.

  2. 2

    Add what your plans cost

Set a price for each plan name and Atlis works out monthly revenue per user, with or without Stripe or Paddle.

  3. 3

    See revenue by channel

Signups, activation, paying users and revenue per channel, campaign and landing page, and how retention differs by channel.

What you get

What's included in Revenue and attribution

  • Channels, campaigns and landing pages

Grouped by the first visit's source, its utm_campaign, or the page it landed on, each showing the top 12.

  • 5 attribution models

First visit, Last visit, Even split, First and last, Recent visits. Switch models to see how credit moves between visits.

  • Monthly revenue without a billing integration

Plan prices turn plan names into revenue, revenue at risk and churned revenue across Users and Insights.

  • Retention by channel

Pick one of your biggest channels to see whether its signups keep coming back week after week.

  • Tracked links included

Signups and paying users per tracked link, including A/B versions and email clicks.

  • In the Weekly Pulse

The channel that brought the most paying users that week, once it has at least two.

Good to know
  • Before signup, the snippet knows each person's first and latest visit; after signup Atlis keeps their last 10 visits.
  • Revenue comes from the plan prices you enter, so it's monthly recurring revenue as Atlis sees it, not your accounting figure.
  • Ad spend isn't imported, so return on ad spend is worked out outside Atlis.

01

Do I need Stripe for revenue numbers?

No. Add a price for each plan name in Settings and Atlis works out monthly revenue from the plan on each user. Stripe or Paddle add billing events such as failed payments and cancellations.

02

Which attribution models are there?

First visit, Last visit, Even split, First and last, Recent visits. Credits can be fractions when they're shared across visits.

03

Where does the source come from?

From the visit that brought each person: utm_source and utm_medium, the referrer, or Direct. Server API users can send their own source.

04

Which plan includes attribution?

Growth and Scale, and every 14-day trial.
