SaaS user activation: get more signups to their first win
Most signups never reach the moment your product clicks. They stall in the first days and quietly leave. Atlis shows you who is stuck and nudges each of them forward automatically, so more of them activate.

What is user activation in SaaS?
A user is activated when they reach the first moment your product is useful to them, such as creating a first project or connecting an integration. You choose what counts: in Atlis a user is activated when you set them as activated, when their first payment arrives from Stripe or Paddle, or when they do one of the activation events you pick during setup.
Why don't new users activate?
They lose momentum
After the first session most people get busy. Two days later they've forgotten why they signed up.
The first step isn't clear
A tour of every feature hides the one action that matters. People leave before they find it.
Nobody notices they stalled
Without stages, a stuck signup looks the same as a busy one. By the time you check, they're gone.
How does Atlis help more users activate?
- 1
Pick your activation moment
During setup, choose the events that mean someone got value, like creating a first project. Atlis marks each user activated when they do it.
- 2
Watch every signup
New and Onboarding stages show who signed up and who is still finding their way. Each profile shows what they did and a suggested next step.
- 3
Nudge the ones who stall
If someone hasn't activated 48 hours after signup, the activation email goes out on its own, at the hour they're usually active if you switch on best-time sending.
- 4
Celebrate progress
Milestones like onboarding completed, a teammate invited or an integration connected can each send a short, timely email.
Which emails get new users to activate?
Each one starts with an email you can edit, and stops on its own when the person acts.

01When should I send an activation email?
Around 48 hours after signup works for most SaaS products: long enough to let people start on their own, soon enough that they still remember signing up. The delay is adjustable per workflow.
02What counts as activated in Atlis?
You decide. A user is activated when you set them as activated, when their first payment arrives from Stripe or Paddle, or when they do one of the activation events you chose during setup.
03Do I need to write the onboarding emails?
No. Every workflow starts with a ready-written email you can edit, and follow-ups stop on their own once the person activates.
Which Atlis features do the work?
Stop losing signups before they ever activate.
Atlis guides more new users to the moment your product clicks, without you watching every signup.
