An email editor for SaaS that looks right in every inbox

Atlis has a visual email editor for lifecycle emails and broadcasts: type / to add text, buttons, images, sections, columns and ready-made layouts, style any block in the Design panel, and preview it at desktop or phone width before you send a test. Every trigger starts from a ready-written email in a Rich branded design or a Simple plain letter, built from email-safe tables and inline styles so it looks the same in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and Yahoo.

How it works

How does email editor work?

  1. 1

    Start from a ready-written email

Pick a trigger (there are 32) and choose one of three templates, each with a first email and a follow-up, in a Rich branded look or a Simple letter.

  2. 2

    Edit it like a document

Type / for blocks, {{ for personal details like first name or plan, and open Design to change colors, spacing, borders and corners.

  3. 3

    Preview, test and send

Check it at desktop and phone width with a sample person, send yourself a test, and fix anything the inbox check flags.

What you get

What's included in Email editor

  • A / block menu

Text, titles, lists, quotes, buttons, sections, 2 or 3 columns, dividers, spacers, images, links and your signature, plus layouts like Announcement, Numbers row, Customer quote and Steps to get started.

  • Design panel

Colors, size, spacing, borders, corners, alignment and links for any block; the path at the top picks the section or column around it.

  • Rich templates in your brand

Your brand color plus up to two soft accents, cards filled from your activation milestones, product updates or plan prices, and looping animated pictures for welcome, trial and comeback emails.

  • Desktop and phone preview

See the email as people get it, with your logo, a sample person and the unsubscribe footer. Columns stack on phones.

  • Inbox check

Flags images without alt text, links without a full address and emails close to Gmail's 102 KB clipping size, then says Inbox ready.

  • Personal details as chips

Type {{ for first name, company, plan, product, the person's own referral link and more, filled in for every person.

  • Your signature

Build a signature with your photo, logo, contacts and a Book a meeting button, or import the one you already use from Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail.

  • A/B tests and versions

Test two subject lines or bodies and keep the winner, or split a workflow to send a different version per product, plan or any field you send.

Rich or Simple: the same email, two looks

Both are real emails from the Trial ending template, rendered exactly as they arrive. Rich uses your brand color and soft accents, with cards from your own setup. Simple reads like a personal letter.

Rich

Simple

Use cases

How founders use it

Onboarding emails that look like your product

A branded welcome with your first steps as cards, instead of a plain text reminder.

Announcements and newsletters

Use the same editor for broadcasts, with Rich templates for What's new and product updates.

Billing and cancellation emails that stay calm

Payment and cancellation templates are deliberately still and simple, so they read as a personal note.

Good to know
  • Images are added from their web address; there's no built-in image hosting for email bodies.
  • Animated pictures are small GIFs: older Outlook for Windows shows their first frame, which is a complete picture.

01

Is there a drag-and-drop email builder?

Yes. Type / to add blocks, then drag a block by its grip (or press Alt+Shift+↑/↓) to move it. Sections and 2 or 3 columns let you build layouts, and the Design panel styles each block.

02

Will my emails look right in Gmail and Outlook?

Yes. Emails are built from email-safe tables and inline styles, so they look the same in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and Yahoo, and columns stack on phones. The inbox check flags common problems before you send.

03

What is the difference between Rich and Simple templates?

Rich uses your brand color and soft accents, with cards filled from your setup and, for some emails, a looping animated picture. Simple is a plain personal letter. You can switch an existing email to the Rich design from the editor.

04

Can I use my own email signature?

Yes. Build one in Profile & Brand or import the one you already use by pasting it from Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail, its HTML code, or an .html file. Atlis makes it safe for every inbox.

05

Can I edit the HTML?

Yes. Built-in templates open in the visual editor with no HTML needed, and the </> switch shows the HTML. Emails with hand-written tables or styles open there, so nothing is lost.

06

Can I send a test email?

Yes, up to 5 test emails a day, to yourself, your mailbox, your company domain or a test account.

07

Which plan includes the email editor?
