Credits purchased thank-you email
A credits purchased email goes to someone right after they buy a credit pack or top up. It confirms what they bought, points them back to the work, and, for people who top up often, shows that a monthly plan would cost less.
Trigger type: Event-based, sent the moment it happensHow often: Each time it happensAutomatic from: Stripe, Paddle

Rich design
The same email, in your brand
Pick Rich instead of Simple and Atlis lays the email out in your brand color with up to two soft accents and cards filled from your own setup. Shown here with a sample product, Ledgerly, and its subject: Your credits are ready, Priya. Built with the Atlis email editor.
When it sends in Atlis
A one-time Stripe Checkout payment (select checkout.session.completed) or a Paddle transaction without a subscription, such as a credit pack or top-up, or you track credits_purchased. Comes with {{amount}}, {{pack}} and {{credits}} when they're set.
Tips for this email
- Say exactly what they got, with {{pack}} and {{credits}}, so they don't have to check.
- Send them straight back to the task they were doing when they ran out.
- For repeat buyers, compare top-ups with a plan in one sentence instead of pushing an upgrade.
Set it up
Send it automatically in three steps
- 1
Connect your app
Install the Atlis snippet and connect Stripe or Paddle in Settings → Integrations.
- 2
Add the Credits Purchased trigger
In Workflows, add the Credits Purchased trigger. The email below is filled in for you.
- 3
Edit and switch it on
Adjust the wording, optionally add up to 4 follow-ups, and switch the workflow on.
How is it triggered?
Automatically from a paid one-time Stripe Checkout (select checkout.session.completed and checkout.session.async_payment_succeeded) or a Paddle transaction with no subscription. You can also track credits_purchased from your app.
Which details can the email include?
{{amount}} (what they paid), plus {{pack}} and {{credits}} from the pack and credits metadata on the Stripe Checkout or the Paddle custom data.
Will two quick top-ups both get an email?
Yes. Only a repeat of the same purchase within 2 minutes (for example your app and Stripe both sending it) is skipped.
