Zapier integration for lifecycle emails and owner alerts

Zapier works with Atlis in both directions. A Webhooks by Zapier step sends users and events into Atlis, and a Catch Hook receives Atlis alerts, new signups and workflow emails so you can pass them to any other app.

What it does

What does the Zapier integration do?

Send users in and alerts out

  • Send users and events in

A Webhooks by Zapier POST step sends people to Atlis's identify endpoint and actions to its events endpoint, so any app in your Zaps can start a workflow.

  • Get alerts out

Point an Atlis webhook at a Zapier Catch Hook to receive owner alerts, new signups and workflow emails sent, then route them wherever you like.

  • Signed requests

Every Atlis webhook carries a signature you can check on your own server. Zapier users can skip the check.

Setup

How do you connect Zapier to Atlis?

Three steps, all in screens you already use. The setup guide has every detail.

  1. 1

    Get your Atlis API key

In Atlis go to Settings → Integrations → Server API & CRM and generate an API key.

  2. 2

Add a Webhooks by Zapier POST step

Send JSON to the Atlis identify or events URL with your key in the Authorization header, and map your fields to user ID, email and name.

  3. 3

    Receive Atlis webhooks (optional)

Create a Catch Hook, paste its URL in Settings → Integrations → Webhooks, pick the events and send a test.

Zapier and Atlis: questions and answers

Plan and limits

Sending users to Atlis: Growth, Scale or an active trial. Receiving Atlis webhooks: Starter or higher (or a trial).

Good to know
  • Atlis waits up to 4 seconds for an answer and doesn't retry, so use a Catch Hook URL directly.
  • Use the same user ID your app sends, so people aren't duplicated.
