Inactive user email after 7 days
An inactive user email goes to someone who hasn't used your product for about a week. The best ones are helpful rather than guilt-tripping: remind them what they were working on and offer a quick way back in.

When it sends in Atlis
The user hasn't been active for 7 days. Checked every hour.
Goal: Bring quiet users back before they forget about you.
Tips for this email
- Remind them of what they already set up, so coming back feels like picking up where they left off.
- Offer help or a short tip rather than a discount.
- Pair it with a 14-day email for people who still don't return.
Send it automatically in three steps
- 1
Connect your app
Install the Atlis snippet or send users and events with the Server API.
- 2
Add the Inactive 7 Days trigger
In Workflows, add the Inactive 7 Days trigger. The email below is filled in for you.
- 3
Edit and switch it on
Adjust the wording, optionally add up to 4 follow-ups, and switch the workflow on.
Questions
How does Atlis measure inactivity?
From the user's last activity: snippet page views and events, Server API events, or a lastActiveAt value you send. Users with no activity data at all are skipped.
How often is it checked?
Every hour, and each user gets it at most once.
