Retention email template
Re-engagement email after 14 days
A 14-day re-engagement email is the second, more direct attempt to win back a user who has gone quiet. Ask what changed, make it easy to reply, and show the one thing that has improved or that they haven't tried.

Goal: Learn why a user stopped and give them a reason to return.
Tips for this email
- Ask a direct question: was something missing, confusing or just not needed right now?
- Mention anything new since they last visited.
- Keep it human and short. This is often the last email before they churn.
Send it automatically in three steps
- 1
Connect your app
Install the Atlis snippet or send users and events with the Server API.
- 2
Add the Inactive 14 Days trigger
In Workflows, add the Inactive 14 Days trigger. The email below is filled in for you.
- 3
Edit and switch it on
Adjust the wording, optionally add up to 4 follow-ups, and switch the workflow on.
Questions
Should I send both 7 and 14-day emails?
Yes, as a pair. The first is a gentle reminder; the second asks what went wrong. Each is sent once per user.
Do API-only users get it?
Only once Atlis has activity for them, from events or a lastActiveAt value. Otherwise it's skipped so CRM leads aren't emailed as 'inactive'.
